1.
Do I 04:20
I hear a distant murmur from the wild Fragile, yet so stern like a grumpy child Do I, do I want to understand The bridge’s been there, oh, forever Won’t even crumble unless I’m to lever Do I, do I want to hold your hand So far, I wonder, should I try, why So close, oh, you’re there, can’t you walk to me So far, but I see you, hold on there So close, give me your hand right here
2.
It’s pure luck, when I see it There’s nothing that I did to deserve you everyday You’ve no explanation, only construction The winding and distracted heart drives me insane Yeah, really ‘Cause I see that people lose it, let it all out When things get heated or slow I’m sure you get some burning crashes, and yelling, and crying, and curses, and awkward encounters So it’s pure luck, don’t you see it There’s nowhere I can be to get around you anyway Anyway
3.
Beginning 04:42
It is new, never spoken, from the deepest, wildest dream It’s a void with no color, with no shape or light or darkness It is wonder, it’s a quest to find an answer to the very question It’s a path never walked on, so hauntingly inviting for your precious heart But don’t be afraid of the gleaming lights that live forever Believe the flame you see whenever you get lost in this living It takes only one step of the child in you to free you from those worries 내가 지금 여기에 너와 갈 준비가 되어있는걸 I’ll be with you for a while But don’t be afraid of the gleaming lights that live forever Believe the flame you see whenever you get lost in this living It takes only one step of the child in you to free you from those worries At night you feel the darkness ‘round Telling you the day is near I will stay with you right here It is new, never spoken It is hope, never broken It’s a plot, the end is open
4.
The sun tells you Remember the sky, so wide ‘Cause you will never come back The breeze tells you Forget where you pass by ‘Cause you will never come back The home is far, the walk is long You wonder, where’s the place you feel rested But for now You walk with me Over the hill We don’t know what’s there Is it fire We’re playing with The grass is tall We don’t know what’s beneath Don’t ask me if you could when you can Never come back, never come back, never come back to you… The sun, you know, the breeze, you know….
5.
Circles 02:19
6.
Rainworks 06:40
You never know when the season finally ends All I have is covered with the sound of raindrops Can’t believe what they say what they wear and what they show Does it mean nothing? You could be nice just for a while, for my a little walk, for just a whole mile You thought it’s over, out of your sight, already passed through the gate The sky is getting grim and calling up his old friend You’re at last running ‘round a little rusted, higher playground Without a cloud of doubt or fear Then it crushes the castles of sand
7.
Like a summer stream that runs away Like a bird that flies with the clouds above I wish we could get away for a while We’ll be far from the town, no worries tonight We’ll be on the tide that will lead us somewhere Maybe we’re in a dream, wondering how we’ll stay forever We will find the stars on the road, easy Touch the moon and sing a lullaby all night Water lights come through and shine your eyes, that’s fine Breathe the sun and write stories in the air Maybe we’re in dream, wondering how we’ll stay forever
8.
I hear you talk Complaining about your life My mind is wandering Looking for new ways to make you smile again Before you leave for a better friend And I know you’ll make me say, “It’s alright, I know you have to go” Now the world is bright You’re still too tired I’ve been wide awake Looking for new ways to keep you here today Maybe all day From your worried life But I know you’ll make me say, “it’s alright, I know you have to go”
9.
Once I Was 04:55
Once I was great at finding the nicest trail Beating the fastest train on the blazing rail Was it delightful, when the end was far away Somehow I am distracted by dimming stars Fireflies on an airplane riding to Mars Do I need a sign, Does it lead me anywhere Oh, your eyes, so delirious You would never be sitting ‘round ‘till sunrise Start my car, ‘cause you like it We’ll go slowly, ‘till there’s no road And we’ll go even more, we’ll see the end of the land And know those secrets they never tell us more Once I was great at finding the nicest trail Passing through birds and bees and grass under veil Suddenly you’re there Can I go with you for a while
10.
Wind Song 04:16
I’ll grab your hand, I won’t let you go away Listen to the song of the wind He’s telling you all the places he’s ever been Haven’t you waited for the letters and the cards Time to get ready for never-ending stories From far away, away, so far away I’ll grab your hand, won’t let you go away Can’t you feel every season’s care Can’t you taste all the sea and salty air Open the window, and let him in Take a little break from missing what you’ve never seen ‘Cause he’s here, you’re here, right out the door I’ll grab your hand, won’t let you go away
11.
I Wonder Why 05:04
I Wonder Why I wonder why the earth keeps spinning so wild I wonder why stars are not turned off for a while I wonder why people are passing by saying nothing when we’re falling in love I wonder why the writers write about the same old lovers And why don’t they paint us create the greatest art in history? I wonder why people are passing by doing nothing when we’re falling in love

Vocalist Jimin Lee has been performing with various styles of jazz ensembles and modern composition projects in Korea and the US. Lasting Fragments, her debut album as a leader, features original compositions that are full of creative ideas, solid ensemble work, and special vocal arrangements.

The music is based on contemporary jazz that are open to a wide array of styles and ideas: traditionally swinging phrases with a quirky twist on Lyndon’s Luck, driving and fresh interaction on Do I and Once I Was, odd-meter choir background and narrative-centric sections on Rainworks, crisp funk groove with processed vocals on Beginning, heavy backbeats and gospel-like progression on I Hear You Talk, and more for you to appreciate.

Enjoy!
